Fast Company\u2019<\/a>s 2020 World Changing Ideas Awards were announced last week, honoring the businesses, policies, projects, and concepts that are actively engaged and deeply committed to flattening the curve when it comes to the climate crisis, social injustice, or economic inequality.<\/p>\n\n\n\nPfister Energy was selected as a finalist in the category of Energy for its Stackable energy technologies \u2014It all starts on the roof submission.
President, Wayne Pfisterer, states, \u201cThere\u2019s a massive amount of infrastructure inefficiency in the electric grid. When we look at commercial rooftops, we see platforms for clean energy technology.\u201d<\/p>\r\n
By stacking energy technologies\u2122 like solar, thermal, wind, daylighting, rainwater harvesting, and other renewable energy systems as part of a smart, on-site building integrated energy plan, helps to optimize each of these solutions.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

A panel of eminent judges selected winners and finalists from a pool of more than 3,000 entries across transportation, education, food, politics, technology, and more.
The 2020 awards feature entries\u00a0from\u00a0across\u00a0the\u00a0globe,\u00a0from\u00a0Vancouver\u00a0to\u00a0Singapore\u00a0to\u00a0Tel\u00a0Aviv.<\/p>\r\n

We are now able to utilize this free real estate for on-site clean energy and storage and is transforming that roof into a generator of energy,\u201d says Pfisterer.<\/p>\r\n
